FAQ:

What is a cat cafe?

The simple answer is…a coffee shop with cats! Our space consists of two areas: the cafe, and the cat lounge. The cafe area is like your regular coffee shop experience. The lounge features relaxed seating in a cozy room of adorable, adoptable cats!

How does it work?

Like a regular coffee shop, except way better because we’ll have a room full of cats! You can drop in for coffee drinks and tasty treats and hang out on our spacious back patio any time. The cat lounge will have limited space, so there will be a reservation fee to enjoy the company of our cats. Reserve here! Walk-ins are allowed if space allows, but we tend to stay pretty booked up! To learn about the current kitties we have at the cafe, please check out our instagram highlights or give us a call.

Why do I have to pay to hang out with cats?

Every dollar you spend at the cafe helps us support the cats! Your admission fee and your purchase of any cafe items help us pay rent, keep the lights on, pay our wonderful staff of cat lovers, and keep saving kitties.

Is this a bring your own cat kind of establishment?

While we wish we could meet all of your awesome kitties, you cannot bring your cat to visit. For the health and well-being of our cats and yours, we must  ask you to leave your feline friends at home.

Are kids allowed?

Yes! We allow all ages to visit as long as they can follow our guidelines to interacting with the cats. There is more information regarding age policies on our booking page.

Is this sanitary? Are you allowed to do this?

Yes, and yes :) We were approved by the health department, the zoning department, and the animal welfare department. You don’t have to worry about getting cat hair in your latte; all drinks will be made in the cafe side of the space.

Where do your cats come from? Can I leave a cat with you?

Our cats come from local cat rescue, The SPCA of Wake County and roam freely in the cat lounge, ready to play, cuddle, purr and make you fall in love. We cannot take any cats that do not come in through The SPCA. To do so would jeopardize the health and well-being of the cats in our care. Here are some resources to check out if you find a stray, or are rehoming a cat.
